Course Descriptions

The Empress Bridge offers learning in specialized kinesiology, metaphysical studies, and related holistic healing subjects. Formats range from general interest to more advanced and Certificate training.

Classes at the College are kept small, so more are added throughout the year. Additions or changes will appear on the "What's New" and "Class Calendar" pages. For those who are interested in learning on a varied schedule, please inquire about other possible options available.

7-DAY KINESIOLOGY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:

No Prerequisites Required
Fee: $600 if registering all at once for complete 7-Day program. If classes are registered for and taken individually, fees add up to $700 (as itemized below):

  • Kinesiology Essentials I (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Kinesiology Essentials II (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Creating Your Own System (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Practicum (1 day, Fee: $100)

Kinesiology Essentials I – In this introductory class you will learn the basics of Kinesiology (or muscle testing) as a way to communicate with your subconscious mind to find many answers to questions you might have that lie just below the level of conscious awareness. Self-testing will be demonstrated and practiced first with all the do’s and don’ts that need to be applied before you can count on getting accurate results. You will then progress to learning the many ways it can be applied to working with others including: testing for supplements food sensitivity, household items, colours, pictures, cards, affirmations, emotions and more.

Kinesiology Essentials II - This workshop will expand on what you learned in the beginning class. You will learn more advanced skills including how to enhance better brain integration, release pain and tension in the body, identify chakra imbalances and trapped emotions that are often the root cause of a wide variety of mind/body ailments. This class is a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to take further kinesiology training from The Empress Bridge College including those who are metaphysically inclined to study subjects such as astrology, numerology, the tarot or any other combination that peaks their interest and creativity!

Creating Your Own System – This workshop will give you a chance to come up with your own creative ways to apply what you have learned. A great opportunity to discuss and share ideas with other students and a chance to explore new ways your skills can be practiced on others. You will complete this class with a feeling of confidence and self-empowerment after having practiced first hand the techniques learned.

Practicum – This allows you to see for yourself how much you have learned since beginning the 7-Day program and will leave the class feeling confident and inspired to begin practicing your unique skills on others.

Students who have attended all classes, completing all oral and/or written tests as well as successfully being able to demonstrate what they have learned on others will receive a Certificate of Competency from the College.



7-DAY METAPHYSICAL CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:

Pre-requisite: 7 Day Kinesiology Program.
Fee: $600 if registering all at once for complete 7-Day program. If classes are registered for and taken individually, fees add up to $700 (as itemized below):

  • Soul Lessons (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Spiritual Laws (1 day, Fee: $100)
  • Cards of Self-Change (1 day, Fee: $100)
  • Creating Your Own System (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Practicum (1 day, Fee: $100)

Soul Lessons – This first metaphysical class of the program will show you how to work with the birthdate and extract valuable and accurate information about someone as far as basic character, challenges they will need to overcome in this lifetime, strengths, weaknesses, health concerns that will manifest when under stress, relationship patterns and much more. These insights will prove to be highly beneficial when working with others to bring about emotional healing as well as a sense of physical health and well being. Many of the same principles can be applied towards a person’s birthname. When you understand the individual differences between people, you can have much more of a positive influence in your work with them. There will be a set of cards that will be available for purchase that will summarize the material learned and provide a starting point for later kinesiology testing with others.

Spiritual Laws – This class will continue from the Soul Lessons workshop and expand your understanding of the nature of specific spiritual laws that need to be taken into consideration when working with others. As in the first workshop, there will be a set of spiritual law cards that will be available for purchase that will summarize the material learned and provide a starting point for later kinesiology testing with others.

Cards of Self-Change – This metaphysically based class will give you much food for thought! If you’ve ever wondered about the reason you were born or perhaps what you’re life’s work is all about, you’ll enjoy discovering some of the answers to these questions. You will be asked to intuitively select from a wide variety of runes, Goddess amulets and healing cards on a large colourful cloth spread out on the floor. Not only will you receive insight about yourself and your life but you will find yourself on a magical journey into the realm of your Higher Self and the many guides that are available to assist you from the non-physical world. This class will give you the opportunity to explore a wide variety of healing cards from which you will select your favourites for later kinesiology testing with others.

Creating Your Own System – This workshop will give you a chance to come up with your own creative ways to apply what you learned in the Soul Lessons, Spiritual Laws and Cards of Self-Change classes. You will have several techniques from which to practice working with others during a private consultation using a variety of healing cards together with kinesiology testing and balancing techniques. You will have the added ability to also assess what Soul challenges a person is dealing with. There will be additional opportunities during this class to discuss and share ideas with other students and a chance to explore new ways your skills can be practiced.

Practicum – This allows you to see for yourself how much you have learned since beginning this 7-Day program so you can leave the class feeling confident and inspired to begin practicing your unique ability to combine what you’ve learned with others.

Students who attend all classes, completing all oral and/or written tests as well as successfully being able to demonstrate what they have learned on others will receive a Certificate of Competency from the College.


10-DAY TAROT CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:

Pre-requisites: 7-Day Kinesiology Program and 7-Day Metaphysical Program.
Fee: $850 if registering all at once for complete 10-Day program. If classes are registered for and taken individually, fees add up to $1,000 (as itemized below):

  • Tarot for the Soul I (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Tarot for the Soul II (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Tarot for the Soul III (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Tarot and Kinesiology Possibilities (1 day, Fee: $100)
  • Creating Your Own System (2 days, Fee: $200)
  • Practicum (1 day, Fee: $100)

Tarot for the Soul I – In this first introduction to the Tarot, you will draw from the knowledge of the Soul Lessons and Spiritual Law classes and see how the meaning of the 56 cards adds to and provides even greater self-reflection and self-awareness, to day-to-day life experiences. You will also learn about the spiritual meanings of the 22 Major Arcana cards which describe the many twists and turns your life will take on your journey towards wholeness. The cards will be divided into nine stages of life that you will find yourself returning to again and again in Tarot for the Soul II as deeper meanings are revealed.

Tarot for the Soul II – In this class you will be introduced to and will learn to understand the often more difficult to comprehend meanings of the 16 court cards. Once all cards have been described, you will begin to group them together by element, learn the art of story telling for easier recall as well as learn some basic spreads to use for specific types of questions.

Tarot for the Soul III – In this class you will spend time learning the art of asking appropriate questions and discovering more advanced spreads for the purpose of reading for yourself and/or others. You will work with a partner as well as share many insights in group discussions aimed to bring out even greater self-awareness and understanding as well as enhance your own particular style of reading.

Tarot and Kinesiology Possibilities -Tarot combined with kinesiology is multifaceted in its implications for helping others with self-awareness, healing and self-empowerment. The potential for using your creativity here is endless!

A great opportunity to discuss and share ideas with other students and a chance to explore new ways your skills can be practiced. You will complete this class with a feeling of confidence and self-empowerment after having practiced kinesiology first hand with the use of the Tarot.

Tarot Practicum – This allows you to see for yourself how much you have learned since beginning this 10-Day Tarot program and the opportunity to complete the class feeling confident and inspired to begin using the cards in your healing sessions with others.

Students who attend all classes, completing all oral and/or written tests as well as successfully being able to demonstrate what they have learned on others will receive a Certificate of Competency from the College.


GROUP PRESENTATIONS:

Do you know of three or four people who might want to take a short course with you? If you and a few friends or colleagues would like to hear more or learn about any of the subjects mentioned here, arrangements can be made for long or short term presentations or classes.
